Job description
- Leads and manages team of technical personnel to operate and maintain monitoring tools and services to inform team and customer stakeholders
- Designs and configures infrastructure monitoring tools and services to promote real-time access to system alerts, cyber status, events, and other data collection that informs Operations teams and Government stakeholders
- Monitors and manages user and group access to tools, dashboards, reports, and data
- Collaborates with other engineers and Operations teams on requirements, APIs, and other data collection techniques and correlations on integrated infrastructure usage, alert thresholds, and potential aggregation for automated ticket creation
- Designs tests using simulations, physical components, and synthetic data transactions to enable Lab-based and in-production validation of system health, availability, and performance
- Develops clear and complete documentation for monitoring solutions, analytic platforms, and related activities
- Provides Tier 3 engineering support for all monitoring and management solutions to meet SLA requirements
Requirements
CACI is looking for an experienced, innovative, and motivated Infrastructure Observability and Monitoring Manager to support the mission objectives and needs of the customer, the Defense Intelligence Agency., Required:
- Must hold a current Top Secret SCI clearance with ability to obtain poly prior to start
- DOD 8140 Certification applicable to role (minimum Security+)
- An AA and 14+ years of experience, BS/BA and 12+ years of experience, MS/MA and 10+ years of experience, or PhD and 8+ years of experience
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience designing, integrating, validating, and implementing infrastructure monitoring and management solution
- Demonstrated performance leading teams
- Practical experience with Splunk, SolarWinds, NETSCOUT, NNMi, HPNA, Cisco Catalyst, ScienceLogic or other infrastructure monitoring and management platforms
- Excellent communication, teamwork, leadership and conflict management, and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and new technologies.
Desired:
- Experience leading teams involved in distributed execution
- Degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering
- Familiarity with IC ITE services and classified environments
- Practical experience with ServiceNow or other ITSM systems
- Practical experience with Tableau, and other reporting or dashboard engines
- ITIL 4 Foundation Certification

The proposed salary range for this position is: $103,800 - $218,100
