Serve as a core member of the Tech/Service Quality team supporting Recall and Software applications

Provide on-call and production support, ensuring system stability and timely issue resolution
-
Develop and maintain COBOL, JCL, DB2, and related mainframe components
-
Support mandatory compliance and feature enhancements for Software initiatives
-
Manage and prioritize backlog items, including defects and enhancements
-
Collaborate with product teams to ensure strong business and customer value delivery
-
Participate in the modernization journey toward GCP migration, working with internal teams and vendors
-
Perform systems support activities including security, audit, and maintenance tasks
-
Execute unit and integration testing for delivered solutions
-
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents with urgency and independence
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
-
6+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years in development
-
Strong hands-on experience in Mainframe systems development
-
Advanced proficiency in at least one or more of the following:
o COBOL (IMS)
o JCL
o DB2
o CA7 scheduling
o COBOL Stored Procedures
o Batch and real-time processing systems
- Experience with system-to-system integrations, including:
o z/OS Connect
o SFTP
o SOAP and REST APIs

Experience with source control tools such as Endevor and GitHub

Strong troubleshooting skills in production and incident environments

Ability to work independently and manage priorities based on business impact

Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills

Experience with unit testing and integration testing
Preferred Skills

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Experience with BigQuery

Familiarity with mainframe database environments and modernization patterns

This is a Contract position based out of Livonia, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $60.00/hr.
