Job description
Day to Day:
This role leads software development efforts supporting combat and tactical vehicle systems. You'll own execution across the full SDLC-helping define requirements, driving design decisions, supporting implementation, and leading integration and testing efforts. While not hands-on coding full-time, you'll stay close to the tech, stepping in to troubleshoot complex issues and guide the team.
Day to day, you'll coordinate across multiple engineering groups, align on scope, and work directly with government stakeholders to adjust expectations and ensure successful delivery. You'll help cut through conflicting requirements to determine what's actually needed and keep teams moving forward.
You'll manage work through tools like Jira, support engineers on features and bugs, and provide leadership across multiple CSCIs. You'll also help establish best practices around development environments and workflows while mentoring junior engineers and contributing to an overall strong team culture.

-
10+ years of software development experience, strong in C++ (C, C# exposure acceptable)
