Job description
We are seeking a seasoned and forward-thinking Salesforce Architect. This role involves platform strategy and technical governance, including enterprise customization, integration architecture, data engineering, and AI-augmented delivery. The ideal candidate combines platform expertise with the ability to lead cross-functional teams, shape long-term architecture direction, and embed Generative AI and Agentic AI methodologies into the daily engineering workflow., * Define and govern enterprise Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom platform applications.
- Lead complex Salesforce customization efforts including Apex frameworks, LWC component libraries, advanced Flow orchestration, and platform event-driven architecture.
- Establish and enforce coding standards, design patterns, DevOps best practices, and CI/CD pipelines via Salesforce DX, Git, and release management tooling.
- Architect and govern end-to-end integrations connecting Salesforce to enterprise systems including MuleSoft, Documentum, Excalibur, SAP, and GIS/ESRI.
- Own and drive Salesforce data architecture, including data modeling, schema governance, and master data management.
- Lead data migration strategies from legacy platforms to Salesforce.
- Leverage Agentic AI platforms for solution design, story creation, code generation, and test automation.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to NERC compliance, utility-sector regulatory standards, and audit-ready documentation requirements.
- Partner with business, product, and IT leadership to translate requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Salesforce Tech Leads and developers across onshore and offshore delivery models.
Requirements
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
Experience: This position requires 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce experience with a minimum of 3 years in a Salesforce Architect capacity. Experience should include advanced software engineering, full-stack development, and large-scale enterprise systems.
Technical Skills:
- Expert-level proficiency in Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, platform events, and Salesforce platform internals.
- Proven expertise in enterprise integration architecture using MuleSoft or equivalent middleware.
- Strong data engineering background including data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and large-scale migrations.
- Demonstrated daily use of Generative AI and Agentic AI tools in a software delivery context.
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce DX, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Salesforce Architect certifications: Application Architect or System Architect is required., * Experience in regulated utility, energy, or infrastructure sectors with knowledge of NERC compliance.
- Familiarity with Salesforce Data Cloud, Einstein Analytics, Agentforce, and Field Service Lightning.
- Hands-on experience with Windsurf, Devin, or similar Agentic AI coding platforms.
- Knowledge of Documentum, Excalibur, or enterprise content management systems.
- Certified Technical Architect (CTA) certification.
- Integration Architecture Designer and Data Architecture Designer certifications.
- Familiarity with GIS/ESRI integrations.
