Oracle EBS Functional Consultant

The Oracle EBS Functional Support Consultant will provide functional support, maintenance, enhancement, and operational support for Oracle E-Business Suite Financials, Grants Accounting, Project Accounting, and Procurement modules. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and support personnel to ensure the stability, performance, and continued optimization of Oracle EBS applications., * Provide functional support for Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) applications and related business processes.

• Support Oracle EBS Financials, Grants Accounting, Project Accounting, and Procurement modules.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional solutions and system enhancements.
• Conduct gap analysis between business requirements and Oracle EBS capabilities.
• Develop detailed functional specifications for enhancements, reports, interfaces, conversions, and integrations.
• Configure, test, and support Oracle EBS modules and associated business processes.
• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and implementation activities.
• Coordinate testing efforts including unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure seamless integration and data flow between Oracle EBS and other enterprise applications.
• Troubleshoot application issues and provide timely resolution to production support incidents.
• Support month-end and year-end financial closing activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams, vendors, and business users to resolve functional and operational issues.
• Provide operational support and ongoing maintenance for Oracle Financials applications.
• Document system configurations, business processes, and support procedures.

• 10+ years of Oracle E-Business Suite Functional Consulting experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting Oracle EBS Version 12.2.9.
• Strong functional expertise in:
• General Ledger (GL)
• Accounts Payable (AP)
• Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Fixed Assets (FA)
• Cash Management
• Grants Accounting
• Project Accounting (PA)
• Procurement
• Extensive experience supporting Oracle EBS Financials environments in production.
• Experience providing operations and maintenance support for Oracle EBS applications.
• Strong understanding of financial business processes and accounting principles.
• Experience creating functional design and specification documents.
• Proven ability to work directly with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting large enterprise Oracle EBS environments.
• Experience with Oracle EBS integrations and interface development projects.
• Experience supporting public sector, transportation, or government organizations.
• Experience participating in Oracle EBS upgrades and enhancement initiatives.
