This role focuses on the integration, assembly, testing, and checkout of high-precision tracking radar systems and associated hardware and software. You will develop and execute comprehensive test plans and procedures, support an agile software development team, and ensure that system integration and test activities meet technical, schedule, and cost objectives. The position offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical, technically complex challenges that directly support national security and rapidly transition from concept to deployment., * Perform software testing on the DARC radar system, ensuring functionality, performance, and reliability meet system requirements.
- Prepare detailed test plans, test procedures, and test reports that support system and element-level verification and validation.
- Ensure effective communication and coordination between assigned engineers and all other participants in the integration and testing process.
- Support an agile software development team by contributing to test planning, execution, and feedback loops.
- Support the development of system test solutions in accordance with project technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Assist the team in the development of innovative test automation solutions to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Participate in, prepare, and execute comprehensive system and element-level test plans and procedures.
- Support system and element-level test planning activities, including participation in test readiness reviews.
- Document test requirements and methodologies in the requirements management system, ensuring traceability and compliance.
- Review system engineering documentation to confirm that test plans and methodologies are accurate, comprehensive, consistent, and complete.
- Support the development of system integration plans, procedures, and scenarios used in software and hardware system integration testing.
- Contribute to integration, assembly, testing, and checkout (IATC) of high-precision tracking radar systems and associated electronic disciplines, including digital and analog signal processing, high power RF transmitters, receivers, antennas, antenna positioning systems, computers, and computer interfaces.
- Participate in engineering peer reviews as a document originator or reviewer to ensure technical quality and engineering rigor.
- Generate Modeling and Simulation (M&S) scenarios to support requirement verification and system evaluation.
- Develop and execute software requirement verification procedures and conduct formal requirement verification test procedures.
- Prepare clear and comprehensive test reports that document results, findings, and deficiencies.
- Document and record integration activities, including plans, procedures, results, and identified issues or deficiencies.
- Support Integration and Test/Checkout (IATC) of hardware and software configuration items as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Collaborate with team members across multiple engineering disciplines to integrate large, complex systems comprised of diverse hardware and software elements.
- Support or participate in international integration and test activities as required, including up to 30% international travel., The role centers on the DARC program, where you work on high-impact, technically complex radar and ground data processing systems that directly support national security. You collaborate closely with elite engineers, technical leaders, and mission partners in a multidisciplinary environment that spans software, hardware, RF, signal processing, and systems engineering. - Experience with system validation activities for complex systems.
- Experience with integration, assembly, testing, and checkout (IATC) of high-precision tracking radar systems or similar complex electronic systems.
- Knowledge of digital and analog signal processing concepts as applied to radar or related systems.
- Knowledge of high power RF transmitters, receivers, antennas, antenna positioning systems, computers, and computer interfaces.
- Ability and willingness to support international travel up to 30%.
- Active Top Secret security clearance.
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Evidence of skills, knowledge, or experience in at least two of the listed preferred qualifications., * Experience working as part of an Integration and Test team across multiple engineering disciplines.
- Experience as a member of a team integrating large, complex systems comprised of diverse hardware and software elements.
- Ability to support Integration and Test/Checkout (IATC) of hardware and software configuration items.
- Ability to document and record integration activities, including plans, procedures, results, and deficiencies.
- International integration and/or test experience.
- Experience with software development integration and test methodologies.
- Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies and practices.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
- SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner) certification.
- Experience with large ground data processing systems integration.
- Experience with radar processing algorithms or radar software integration.
- Experience using tools such as MATLAB for integration, analysis, or test support.
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with engineers and stakeholders throughout the integration and test lifecycle.

This is a Contract position based out of Colorado Springs, CO. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $81.00/hr.
