Job description
Our mission: "Every day we dedicate our time, talent and resources to creating secure, sustainable solutions that empower lotteries to maximize good cause funding.", * Implementation of our highly available transaction system that stores, evaluates, processes and accounts lottery game products
- Design, implementation and testing of new features
- Maintenance, customer support and assistance in test
- Technical support of customer systems (currently >25 live customers around the world, and more to follow)
- Responsibility for the implementation, testing, and documentation of software to ensure system stability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and other technical issues
- Participation in all phases of the software development cycle
Requirements
- Technical experience in C or C++
- Java developers are also welcome
- Good knowledge in using / designing web interfaces (REST, JSON, …)
- Basic Linux experience
- Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Bash
- Experience in using GitLab, container build environments
- Effective problem-solving skills in a multi-component, highly available system
- Skilled programmer and able to work with sensitive data
- Self-organized but also a good team player
- Bonus Skills: Experience with databases and SQL (PostgreSQL / Oracle / SQLite),
- Bonus Skills: Experience in performance critical environments
- Language skills: German and English
