Job description

  • Design, deployment, and patch management of the IT infrastructure for maintenance computers and software applications in specialized vehicles in a military environment
  • Automation of deployment processes for complete maintenance computers, including compliance with IT security requirements, in coordination with development, IT security, operations, and external partners
  • Setup, operation, and administration of container platforms for application software in vehicles and for complete maintenance computers
  • Commissioning and management of subcontractors for the execution of subprojects
  • Creation of process-oriented development documentation (e.g., V-Modell XT)
  • Implementation of specified IT security measures
  • Design and orchestration of container environments

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * A successfully completed degree in computer science or IT training, e.g., IT Specialist (m/f/d) for System Integration or equivalent

  • Proficiency in the administration and hardening of Windows operating systems
  • Strong knowledge of scripting (Bash, Shell, Cygwin, InnoSetup)
  • Basic knowledge of C++, CMake, Qt, Python, and NuGet
  • Proficiency in automation solutions
  • The following would be advantageous: Experience with databases, requirements engineering (e.g., using DOORS), and PLM systems
  • Very good written and spoken German, as well as good written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
