ICT Engineer

• Develop and implement engineering solutions to improve system performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimise network infrastructure.
• Utilise tools such as LogicMonitor for monitoring and troubleshooting system performance.
• Write scripts in PowerShell & RMM to automate tasks and enhance system functionality.
• Manage Windows and Hyper-V environments, ensuring optimal performance and security.
• Work with NFS for file sharing across networked systems.
• Implement Quality of Service (QoS) protocols to optimise network traffic management.
• Conduct thorough testing of systems to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Provide technical support and training to team members as needed.
• Manage Microsoft 365 Tenants and Migrations
• Manage customer networks and wireless solutions
• On-site Surveys
• Log and Process Calls and Tickets
• To resolve tickets and complex (second line) support requests whilst meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands
• Provision, install and maintain IT hardware, software and peripherals
• As a front-line customer facing employee be an ambassador for Abbey ICT Ltd

The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and be proficient in various engineering disciplines. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that enhance our operational efficiency and effectiveness., * Proven experience in an engineering role, preferably within a network infrastructure environment.

• Strong knowledge of IP networking principles and practices.
• Familiarity with Mac OS is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience in encoding processes is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey technical information.
