Job description

As an IT Desktop Support Engineer at Wren Kitchens, you'll deliver professional, customer-focused technical support across our head office, retail showrooms, and remote locations. This role involves both on-site and remote support, resolving technical issues across desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and networking equipment. You'll work closely with IT and business teams to ensure system reliability, performance, and continuous improvement., * Provide 1st and 2nd line support for Windows, MacOS, Android, and iOS devices.

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and network issues.
  • Support MDM platforms: Intune, Jamf, and SOTI.
  • Manage incidents and service requests via ITSM, ensuring timely resolution and root cause analysis.
  • Implement new technologies, updates, and maintain asset records and documentation.
  • Ensure endpoint compliance with security and patching policies.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, escalate issues, and travel to remote sites (driving license required).
  • Act as an escalation point for the service desk and liaise with suppliers, managing POs.
  • Support IT projects, continuous improvement initiatives, and train junior staff.
  • Handle admin tasks like fleet compliance and invoice reviews, and promote internal events.

In addition to any other duties, as a responsible person you must ensure that you have read, understood and adhere to polices and procedure relating to Health and Safety, and your responsibilities located in the Integrated Management System (IMS) Responsibilities document

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in macOS?, Desired Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, Azure, Windows 10/11, MacOS, iOS, and Android.
  • Skilled in networking, printing, and endpoint support.
  • Experience with MDM tools (Intune, Jamf, SOTI), PDQ Deploy, IFS, OneLan, and Chip & PIN devices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and organisational skills under pressure.
  • Clear communication with a customer-focused approach.
  • Experienced in on-site and remote support.
  • IT certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, Apple) are a plus.
  • Full driving licence, valid in the UK required.
