Technical Marketing Analyst

In this role, you will own the best practices, customer segmentation, testing implementation, campaign set up, and analysis of email, SMS, and push programs. You will have intimate knowledge of marketing database architecture and data processes and will oversee data loads/pulls and overall hygiene. In this role, you will work closely with CRM, brand, and tech leads on campaign strategy and execution.

Responsibilities

• Owns best practices, customer segmentation, testing implementation, campaign execution, and analysis of email, SMS, and push programs

• Has intimate knowledge of marketing database architecture and data processes

• Manages implementation of new data integrations and APIs

• Oversees design and implementation of new programs and technical solutions

• Responsible for complex customer segmentation and buildout of customer journeys

• Partners with CRM and brand leads on campaign strategy and roadmap

• Responsible for requirement definition, UAT, and implementation of technical projects

Ability To Meet Deadlines SQL (Programming Language) Salesforce Marketing Cloud Salesforce Journey Builder Verbal Communication Skills Extract Transform Load (ETL) File Transfer Protocol (FTP) Customer Relationship Management HyperText Markup Language (HTML) Application Programming Interface (API) Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations (XSLT), * 3+ years of experience in email marketing campaign coordination/deployment, email best practices, customer segmentation, and database marketing

• Comfortable working with large data sets with the ability to query, modify, and join data from different sources.

• Strong ability to manage processes and ensure quality control

• Strong technical ability using HTML, SQL, FTP tools, ETL tools. XSLT a plus.

• Proficient in SalesForce Marketing Cloud software, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Interaction Studio

• Facility with Excel and PowerPoint. Able to analyze results and create and present reports.

• Project management ability working with IT, external vendors, and internal stakeholders

• Ability to deal with ambiguity and a fast-paced changing environment

• Well-organized, high attention to detail, deadline-oriented

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Enjoys working with others as part of a team

• BS/BA degree

Top Skills Details (REQUIRED)

• SQL will be required- SQL will be in everyday use for segmentation, data pulling and data extensions
• SFMC- Automation studio, Email studio, Journey Builder, AMPscript, etc.
• Batch and blast execution experience

• Email operations and Product -

• Writing SQL for Data Lookups -
• Building campaign logic
• Replat forming experience is a plus.
