Job description

Humana's Provider, Process and Service (PPS) organization is looking for a Senior Data and Reporting Professional to join the Integrated Provider and Process Solutions (IPPS) team working remote anywhere in the US. Be a part of a team of drivers for provider self-service adoption via the Watson AI platform. As the Senior Data and Reporting Professional, you will collaborate cross functionally with key business partners to improve the provider experience via the use of technology and data. Your focus will be on guiding development of business intelligence tools and using them inform on and to drive process improvement efforts. If so, then this role may be for you., The Senior Data and Reporting Professional integrates data from multiple sources to produce requested or required data elements. Programs and maintains report forms and formats, information dashboards, data generators, canned reports and other end-user information portals or resources. In this role you will create specifications for analysis tools based on business needs identified by key leaders and business partners, and drives implementation and utilization of these tools to support improvement projects. You will make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components and work is performed without direction.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

5 years of technical experience in data reporting

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including ability to link pivots to external data sources, creating pivot tables and summarizing data into reports and dashboards

Strong skills/experience with SQL

Experience with tools such as PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik for creating data visualizations

Experience working with big and complex data sets within large organizations and/or the analysis of healthcare data

Proficiency in verbal and written communication to senior and executive leadership

Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

Excellent at solving complex problems

Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional problem solving efforts and drive work to completion

Work at Home/Remote Requirements

Must ensure designated work area is free from distractions during work hours and virtual meetings

Must provide a high-speed DSL or cable modem for a workspace (Satellite and Hotspots are prohibited). A minimum standard speed of 10x1 (10mbs download x 1mbs upload) for optimal performance of is required

Preferred Qualifications

Six Sigma Certification or equivalent

Advanced Degree in a quantitative discipline, such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

Experience in a data warehousing environment

Knowledge of provider office processes and experience working in the provider space
