With a growing national presence and a collaborative culture, we are committed to building technology that creates meaningful impact., We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Architect / Solutions Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of a secure, scalable AWS-based microservices infrastructure. This role will play a critical part in the migration of a legacy CRM platform from PHP to a modern .NET-based architecture while ensuring security, reliability, and operational excellence throughout the process.

The ideal candidate will partner closely with offshore development teams and internal engineers, providing technical leadership, architectural guidance, and hands-on expertise in AWS cloud technologies, microservices, and cloud security best practices.

Responsibilities Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Design and implement a scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS microservices architecture to support the migration of a legacy CRM platform from PHP to .NET. Provide technical oversight and guidance to offshore engineering teams, ensuring adherence to security standards, performance expectations, and project timelines. Mentor and upskill internal engineering teams on AWS services, cloud-native development, microservices architecture, and cloud security best practices. Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools such as CloudWatch, Datadog, ELK Stack, Prometheus, or Grafana to maintain system health, performance, and security visibility. Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal stakeholders and external development resources. Architect secure integrations between legacy PHP systems and modern .NET microservices, ensuring seamless data flow, reliability, and system integrity. Establish and enforce AWS security best practices, including IAM least privilege access, VPC segmentation, encryption standards, network security controls, and compliance requirements. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, security, scalability, and cost efficiency. Conduct regular security assessments, risk reviews, and architecture audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements. Maintain confidentiality, integrity, and availability of all information assets in accordance with company policies and industry best practices.

Requirements

7+ years of experience in cloud architecture and engineering, including at least 3 years of hands-on AWS experience in production environments. Strong expertise with AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFormation, and CloudWatch. Proven experience designing, deploying, and supporting microservices architectures, preferably within .NET environments. Familiarity with PHP and .NET development to support modernization and migration initiatives. Experience implementing and managing monitoring and observability platforms for distributed cloud systems. Deep knowledge of AWS security services and best practices, including AWS Shield, WAF, KMS, GuardDuty, IAM, and network security controls. Experience leading technical teams, managing external vendors or contractors, and mentoring engineers. Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams and stakeholder groups., AWS Certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) and/or AWS Security Specialty. Experience building and securing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar tools. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container security within AWS environments. Previous experience supporting CRM platforms, enterprise application modernization, or large-scale cloud migration initiatives.
