This role maintains and supports the CAD environment and ensures accurate and consistent product data flows through the PLM system. It enables Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to define product definition, product structures, release processes, and maintains CAD and PLM standards. The role also supports PLM configuration and targeted system improvements, in coordination with the PLM team, to ensure the system continues to meet business needs.
Develop and maintain CAD and PLM standards, libraries, and best practices Enabling Engineering teams on CAD models, assemblies, and product structures Leading change management processes and ensure data accuracy across product releases Partner with PLM and IT teams to drive system configuration, data model updates, and targeted customizations (including scripting or Java-based enhancements A PLUS) Test, configure, and maintain CAD and PLM systems (Creo Parametric and Windchill) Provide training and documentation for CAD and PLM users across the organization Work cross-functionally with Production, Supply Chain, and Component Engineering on product data and part management
Requirements
Do you have experience in XML?, Bachelor's Degree Mechanical Engineering or related field
Creo Parametric (assemblies, sheet metal, plastics, enclosures) Windchill PLM (lifecycle, data structures, multi-user environment) Product structures (eBOM / mBOM alignment, options / variants) Change management processes (ECR/ECN) PLM configuration, customization, or scripting (Java, XML) CAD/PLM standards and best practices Problem solving and issue resolution Cross-functional communication
5-7 years Mechanical CAD experience (Creo) 3-5 years PLM experience (Windchill) 1-3 years Product structure (BOMs), lifecycle management, and change processes 1-3 years PLM configuration, customization, or development (Java or similar)
