Job description
This is a full-time remote Kubernetes Engineer role focused on designing, implementing, and operating containerized workloads for clients. The Kubernetes engineer will build and maintain Kubernetes clusters, define deployment patterns, and manage scaling, upgrades, and cluster health. Typical responsibilities include creating and optimizing Helm charts or other deployment templates, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and integrating Kubernetes with cloud services, networking, and storage., * Managed Technology LLC serves solely as an intermediary for sourcing, screening, and presenting candidates and is not the employer of record unless otherwise formally agreed in writing.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Tooling?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * 6+ years of experience using Kubernetes, including cluster architecture, namespaces, services, ingress, and workload management in an enterprise and/or startup environment.
- 6+ years of experience with containers and orchestration tooling, i.e., Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes operators.
- 3+ years of experience with one or several infrastructure-as-code tools: Terraform, Pulumi, or CloudFormation.
- 3+ years of experience with AT LEAST ONE, if not several, of the following observability and monitoring stacks: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK OR OpenTelemetry.
- At least 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes security concepts, including RBAC, network policies, secrets management, and image scanning in a live working environment.
- 5+ years working with Linux, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, or Go basics), and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
What would make you stand out?
If you have one or more of the following certifications: CKAD, CKA, CKS, or KCNA
If you have hands-on experience as a NOC or network engineer supporting a contact center or as a DevOps engineer working in a cloud-heavy AWS environment.
You truly want to work hybrid and don't mind a commute.
