Job description

Understand all of the operations of the production line
-
Demonstrate a working knowledge of all essential Quality and Food Safety Programs and assist in Regulatory audits

Member of the plant Internal Audit Team
-
Understand, monitor, and report violations of GMP, Food Safety Compliance, plant security, and safety policies
-
Work with production to ensure all products meet specifications
-
Monitor finished product specifications as required
-
Enact HOLD procedures and manage associated documentation
-
Perform routine checks of metal detectors
-
Responsible for daily lot tracking documentation to ensure accuracy. Data entry for accurate traceability.

Collect and evaluate product for sensory, incoming raw material samples, and retains per customer requirements

Initiate foreign material reports and investigate cause
-
Maintain data entry spreadsheets for all finished products and investigate/resolve issues
-
Perform 100% inspection of key accounts
-
Recommend and work on process improvements
-
Improve and/or report unsafe, unsanitary, or inappropriate conditions
-
Take problem solving initiative
-
Follow all plant and corporate safety and food safety policies and procedures

Assist other departments as needed
Requirements
Do you have experience in Computer literacy?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, Be able to lift / push 50; more than 50lbs will require two people.
Able to work on feet for the entire shift.
Perform tasks requiring standing, lifting, pushing, pulling, walking, and climbing, High School Diploma or equivalent
