Job description
New position Description: Responsible for analyzing, interpreting and translating clinical documentation into the significant clinical databases for California Perinatal Quality Care Collaborative (CPQCC), and Pediatric Cardiac Critical Care Consortium (PC4). Serves as the Backup Site Administrative and Data Entry Coordinator Role for the Society of Thoracic Surgery (STS) data bases. Analyzes, validates, and produces data for comparative reporting for the clinical teams for internal and external administrative and clinical statistical reporting in all the databases supported. Collaborates with clinical leadership and teams, quality leaders, and data management staff to ensure data integrity and compliance. Supports quality improvement efforts through precise data interpretation and participates in clinical documentation performance improvement activities that support the data needs of the databases., ALERT: Valley Children's Healthcare has been made aware of malicious employment scams targeting candidates with false job offers and requests for personal information. Requirements
Do you have experience in Health information management?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High School Diploma/G.E.D. (required)
- College Degree - 2 year Health Information Management (required)
Licenses and Certifications
- RHIT - Registered Health Information Technician - AHIMA - American Health Information Management Association (required) Or
- RHIA - Registered Health Information Administrator - AHIMA - American Health Information Management Association (required)
- RN - Registered Nurse License - CA-BRN - California Board of Registered Nursing (preferred)
Work Experience
- Minimum one (1) year Related or appropriately relevant experience (required)
