Job description
Greenwing Technology is looking for a full-time Systems Administrator & Web Developer. The developer will report to COO and lead developers. The web developer will be working on our core B2B eCommerce system written in PHP/MySQL as well as other APIs and middleware developed by our in-house and offshore team.

Ideal applicants will be self-starters who will be allowed to work remotely as needed. You must be located in the Mid-Atlantic area (Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland).
You'll be joining a team of customer success managers, developers and marketers who have a passion for the very niche industry of eProcurement and Punchout Catalogs. Greenwing Technology services organizations of all sizes ranging from 1-2 person teams to organizations with over $1B+ in sales. The technical support specialist will work and get to know every one of our customers and partners., * AWS: Maintaining the existing server infrastructure (EC2, SG, S3) in 4 regions
- WHM/cPanel Administration
- Extending and maintaining APIs
- Adding new features to client installation of eCommerce system
- Updating and improving legacy coding
- Interfacing with clients to assess needs on new project work
- Assist in the composition and dissemination of internal coding standards
- Researching development tools, for example unit testing frameworks, Selenium, etc.
- Produce internal and external documentation of findings and recommendations
Requirements
Do you have experience in XML?, * 5+ years experience in AWS Administration (SNS and Lambda is a plus)
- 5+ years experience PHP v7+ and MySQL web development programming
- 5+ years experience with JSON and XML
- Experience with cPanel/WHM
- Experience with Linux scripting (bash, cron jobs, etc.)
- MySQL/MariaDB Engine/Sphinx & other relevancy engines
- Experience using VPNs and 2FA
- Experience building and connecting with RESTful APIs
- Experience with eCommerce platforms (Magento, Woo Commerce, Shopify, etc.), specifically building extensions/plugin (WordPress plugin is a big plus).
- Ability to work with our offshore development and coordinate meetings/updates as needed.
- Knowledge of programming constructs and best practices
- Ability to be nimble and adjust tasks as priorities change based on client work
- Understanding of both legacy and object-oriented programming and design is strongly desired
- Knowledge of advanced database systems
- Ability to interact directly with customers and lead technical discussions, * supporting a SAAS application: 3 years (Required)
- PHP: 5 years (Preferred)
