Job description
As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining our high standards by inspecting finished plastic components and ensuring they meet precise customer specifications. You will utilize your attention to detail and technical aptitude to manage inventory, perform secondary assembly tasks, and contribute to the overall efficiency of our production environment. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough visual and mechanical inspections of finished goods to verify compliance with quality standards.
- Execute secondary operations such as trimming, welding, or inserting components to prepare parts for final shipment.
- Accurately count, weigh, and sort products using precision scales and measuring equipment.
- Manage inventory records and product labeling through ERP software to ensure accurate stock tracking.
- Prepare and organize production cells for upcoming jobs, ensuring all materials and instructions are ready for operation.
- Maintain a clean and safe workspace, proactively reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to leadership.
- Document production data, including reject counts and shift totals, to support operational transparency.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Dimensional measurements?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and follow detailed work instructions.
- Proficiency in basic mathematics for counting and measuring parts.
- Strong physical stamina, including the ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
- Reliable attendance and a commitment to working effectively within a team-based environment., * 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing or plastics production setting.
- Prior experience with quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management software systems.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office tools.
