Job description

TQI Solutions is currently seeking a Network Administrator - Journeyman to support our customer. This position provides advanced, hands-on field support across multiple sites, ensuring reliable network performance, efficient troubleshooting, and the maintenance of critical infrastructure., Configure, manage, and troubleshoot secure Layer 2/3 network infrastructure (Cisco/Palo Alto) across classified and unclassified DoW networks to ensure continuous, secure mission operations., * Configure and manage routing, switching, and firewall infrastructure (Cisco DNA Center, ISE, Firepower, Palo Alto, VPNs).

  • Implement firewall/ACL rules and perform continuous operational and network security monitoring.

  • Enforce DoW cybersecurity mandates (STIGs, SRGs, IAVAs) via vulnerability management and IOS/PanOS upgrades.

  • Maintain accurate baseline configurations and technical documentation for all network devices.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance.

  • Cyber Workforce (CWF): Must meet qualification requirements outlined in DoW Directive 8140.01.

  • Experience: Journeyman-level experience (typically 3-5 years) administering Cisco and Palo Alto hardware, Layer 2/3 protocols, and maintaining DoW network security compliance.

This position may require the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance. Candidates must be eligible for a background investigation.
