We're working with a growing technology company that builds a sophisticated cloud-based platform used by businesses across multiple international markets. As they continue to scale, they're looking to hire two QA Automation Engineers to help drive quality across a modern engineering environment.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys automation testing, wants to continue developing their technical skills, and likes working closely with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.
The Role
You'll join a collaborative product team consisting of engineers, product specialists, designers and QA professionals. Quality is treated as a shared responsibility, and you'll play a key role in ensuring new features are delivered with confidence., * Designing, writing and executing test cases for new functionality
- Building and maintaining automated test suites
- Expanding automation coverage and improving regression testing reliability
- Investigating defects and working closely with engineers to identify root causes
- Collaborating with product and engineering teams throughout the development life cycle
- Contributing ideas around testing processes, tooling and best practice
- Leveraging AI-powered tools to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
- 2+ years' experience in a QA Automation Engineer, Test Automation Engineer, Software Tester or similar role
- Experience building automated tests using Playwright
OR
- Strong experience with another modern automation framework such as Cypress, Selenium, WebdriverIO or similar, with an interest in learning Playwright
- Experience working with JavaScript or TypeScript
- Good SQL skills for data validation and troubleshooting
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and QA best practices
- Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A genuine passion for quality and continuous improvement
Nice To Have
- Experience working within fintech, financial services or SaaS environments
- Exposure to AWS or Azure
- Experience contributing to automation strategy or framework improvements
- Performance or security testing experience
