Job description

  • Customize and maintain our established database solutions (including SAP BW and SQL) in close cooperation with our internal IT teams
  • Develop and refine our reporting solutions to meet changing business needs
  • Manage and validate data to ensure accuracy, consistency and reliability
  • Design and implement new methods and tools to streamline existing and future financial processes
  • Prepare detailed dashboards, reports, data views and analyses for various reporting purposes
  • Future-proof our analytical toolbox (including R, Python and VBA) by proactively identifying improvement opportunities and anticipating business needs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments within VIG (Group) to align processes and ensure optimal data utility

  • More Benefits, Based on the legal requirements, we inform about the monthly minimum salary according to the collective agreement of EUR 3 353,17 gross on the basis of full-time employment (37,5 hours / week). Of course, the remuneration package is market-compliant. It is important to us that your salary is based on your qualifications and experience, therefore we will discuss the salary together in a personal interview.

Requirements

  • A university degree in data science, economics, finance, mathematics or a related field
  • First experience in working with different data models and data migration
  • Proficiency in analytical software such as Excel, R, Power BI, or similar tools
  • Experience with data warehouse solutions (SAP, Oracle, MS SQL, etc.) is a plus but not a strict requirement
  • Some experience with programming (VBA, Powershell, Python, etc.) is beneficial, as you will be expected to engage in minor programming tasks on a regular basis
  • An analytical mindset coupled with a problem-solving orientation
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Very good English language skills, both spoken and written. German is a plus.
