Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior DevOps Cloud Architect to support the design, implementation, security, and governance of a large-scale hybrid cloud environment. You will work closely with internal infrastructure and service delivery teams to establish a secure AWS foundation, implement cloud best practices, and drive cloud adoption through automation and knowledge sharing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement a robust, scalable, and secure AWS landing zone.
• Define and manage AWS organizational structures using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and CloudFormation/CDK.
• Implement and enforce AWS Service Control Policies (SCPs).
• Configure AWS Identity Center and integrate Single Sign-On (SSO) with external identity providers.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance frameworks, including NIS2 and ISO 27001.
• Define and implement data classification, encryption, and access control policies.
• Design logging, monitoring, archiving, and backup strategies for cloud workloads.
• Establish secure hybrid connectivity between AWS environments and on-premises data centers.
• Design and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and DevOps best practices.
• Develop reusable Terraform modules and cloud "golden path" templates.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to internal teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define cloud standards, architecture principles, and operational procedures.

Required Skills & Experience

• Extensive experience designing and implementing AWS cloud solutions in enterprise environments.

• Expert-level knowledge of:

• AWS Cloud Services

• Terraform

• AWS CloudFormation / CDK

• Cloud Architecture

• Cloud Security

• Kubernetes

• GitLab

• Java

• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation, and DevOps practices.

• Experience building and managing hybrid cloud environments.

• Knowledge of cloud governance, security, compliance, and risk management.

• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines and platform engineering practices.

Preferred Certifications

One or more of the following certifications is highly desirable:

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect
• AWS Certified Developer
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer
• AWS Certified Security Specialty
• AWS Authorized Instructor
• AWS Hero
