Job description

As a Business Intelligence Developer within the EMEA Business Intelligence team, you will be a core member of the BI Development pillar. In this role, you will design and deliver scalable, high-quality BI products that support multiple markets, service lines, and sectors across EMEA. You will own the full development lifecycle of central BI products-from requirements gathering and design through to delivery, enablement, and continuous iteration-ensuring every output is technically strong, visually consistent, and genuinely valuable to the business.

Working closely with local BI teams, Analytics Engineers, and business stakeholders, you will ensure that all central BI products are built with reusability and scalability at their core, and that they are successfully adopted across the markets they serve. As our BI solutions evolve, you will increasingly work with custom development, AI-assisted tooling, and agentic capabilities to extend what our products can do and how users interact with them.

This is a hands-on, business-facing role that combines strong technical delivery with a clear focus on impact. You will think beyond individual solutions and contribute to a growing catalogue of BI products that drive measurable value for the organisation., * Design and develop scalable, reusable BI products-including dashboards, reports, and analytical tools-using the Microsoft Power Platform and the Intelligent Data Platform.

  • Own the full delivery lifecycle of central BI products: intake, requirements gathering, design, development, launch, enablement, and iteration.
  • Work closely with local BI teams to translate business needs into intuitive, well-structured analytics solutions used across multiple markets.
  • Ensure all BI products meet central governance standards, visual style guidelines, and documentation requirements.
  • Support the rollout of central BI products by providing demos, enablement materials, and guidance to drive adoption.
  • Collaborate with Analytics Engineers to ensure upstream data models and datasets meet product requirements.
  • Contribute to the central reusable asset catalogue, ensuring components are documented and accessible for reuse.
  • Participate in peer reviews to maintain consistent quality across the BI Development team.
  • Monitor product usage and adoption, gather stakeholder feedback, and translate insights into improvements via Azure DevOps.
  • Promote the Intelligent Data Platform as the single source of truth for all BI development.
  • Contribute to custom BI solutions when standard tooling is not sufficient, applying development skills to extend platform capabilities.
  • Explore and apply AI-assisted and agentic capabilities within BI products, such as natural language interfaces and AI-driven insights.
  • Support cross-border client pitches with analytics and visualisations, contributing to the BI Pitchbook.
  • Stay up to date with Microsoft Power Platform capabilities and share knowledge within the team., You will join the EMEA Business Intelligence team, a collaborative group of BI Developers, Analytics Engineers, and data specialists working across multiple markets. The BI Development pillar focuses on building central, reusable BI products that deliver measurable value across the region. You will work closely with local BI teams, business stakeholders, and the Innovation & Analytics community to ensure our solutions are scalable, consistent, and widely adopted.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in BI development, data visualisation, or analytics delivery.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, report design, and performance optimisation.
  • Experience working with enterprise data platforms such as Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, or Azure Synapse.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling principles and semantic models.
  • Familiarity with custom development or scripting (Python, R, etc.) is an advantage.
  • Awareness of AI and agentic tooling within the Microsoft or Databricks ecosystem, with a willingness to apply these capabilities.
  • Familiarity with Power Apps or Power Automate is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of BI governance, documentation standards, and visual design best practices.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear, intuitive analytics solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in presenting to non-technical audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, quality-focused, and experienced in delivering production-ready BI outputs.
  • Comfortable working in a cross-functional, multi-market environment with multiple workstreams.
  • Experience with Agile or hybrid delivery models is an advantage.
  • PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst Associate) certification is desirable.
  • Fluent in English; additional European languages are a plus.
