Job description

An opportunity has arisen for a Web Developer to join a growing engineering team responsible for a portfolio of high-traffic digital platforms., * Developing and maintaining web applications using PHP (Laravel)

  • Building responsive, user-friendly interfaces using modern front-end technologies
  • Designing and optimising databases for performance and scalability
  • Integrating third-party APIs and internal systems
  • Deploying and managing applications in a cloud (AWS) environment
  • Monitoring performance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring security best practice
  • Contributing to technical discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives

You'll be a well-rounded developer with strong back-end expertise and a solid grounding in modern web technologies. You enjoy solving problems, take ownership of your work, and are comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment.

Requirements

  • Strong PHP development experience, ideally with Laravel
  • Solid front-end skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ideally React or Vue)
  • Experience working with relational databases and APIs
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD practices
  • A good understanding of performance, scalability, and secure development

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Exposure to CMS platforms or analytics tooling
  • Experience integrating third-party systems
  • Interest in mobile development (e.g. React Native)
