Job description

Reporting to the Technical Manager, this role consists of the preparation, processing, and submission of quotations from customer enquiries for all catalogue & bespoke product ranges. As part of the team, the estimator will own and manage their quotes, updating records in liaison with both internal & external teams, to ensure VORTICE offer matches the client's requirements in terms of specification, performance, pricing, and data information. The role will focus on producing quotations for all relevant ventilation market sectors utilising bespoke quotation & Air Handling software when needed., * To ensure that all key information is obtained in order to offer a suitable solution to the client for his project/application

requirements.

  • To ensure all opportunities for cross-selling are achieved.
  • To ensure that the correct pricing standards are adopted for the appropriate client / project.
  • Listen to the customers, identify, and understand their needs & make sure that promises made are delivered.
  • To provide excellent customer service, being helpful, courteous, and professional always, going that extra mile to deliver

great customer experience.

· Keep up to date with the latest ventilation legislation and changes

· Support our customer base by being the first line of technical support and aftersales calls and enquiries received by the business

· Support with training of Vortice team members

  • To Meet agreed targets, KPIs and deadlines.
  • Work in a manor to achieve the company objectives

Requirements

Do you have a valid Driving License license?, Do you have experience in Sales?, * A good understanding of commercial estimating

  • Numeracy and analytical thinking.
  • Competent with systems such as Microsoft office, outlook and advanced excel would be an advantage
  • Experience of REVIT MEP, 2D CAD systems or similar preferred but not essential
  • Problem solving, planning, organisation & time management.
  • Mange customer relationships.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess good communication awareness.
  • Possess energy, drive, ambition as well as a positive, "can do, make it happen" work ethic and a keen attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills.
  • A good communicator and comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to grow & develop within a commercial environment to meet future challenges at VORTICE UK.
  • Adaptable to new situations and able to work under pressure.
  • Patient and able to concentrate to reach the right conclusion
