Design Engineer

• Conduct feasibility studies and perform simulations to validate design performance under various conditions.
• Prepare technical documentation, including drawings, reports, and user manuals for manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Analyse existing products to identify areas for improvement in functionality, durability, or cost-efficiency.
• Support prototyping activities by overseeing the production of initial models and conducting testing to evaluate performance.
• Ensure all designs adhere to relevant safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Stay updated on emerging trends in engineering design and incorporate innovative solutions into projects.

Do you have experience in SolidWorks?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Proven experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar role within an engineering or manufacturing environment.

• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD or Inventor is essential.
• Strong understanding of materials science, mechanical principles, and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) or computational fluid dynamics (CFD) is advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think creatively and analytically under pressure.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and present complex ideas clearly.
• A recognised engineering qualification such as BEng or MEng in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline is preferred.
