Data-Driven Solution Delivery

• Lead the delivery of data-driven projects, encompassing data analysis, statistical modelling, and advanced analytics to generate actionable insights.
• Design and develop compelling data visualisations and interactive dashboards using modern analytics tools to communicate complex findings clearly.
• Translate business requirements into technical data solutions, ensuring alignment with client objectives and data strategy.

Data Engineering & Architecture

• Design, build, and optimise robust data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes on cloud platforms to ensure data quality, availability, and scalability.
• Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data governance frameworks to support analytical and operational needs.
• Utilise SQL and scripting languages (Python or R) for data extraction, transformation, validation, and integration across diverse data sources.

Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement

• Manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables effectively, ensuring successful outcomes and client satisfaction.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business users, IT, and other technical specialists, to drive project success.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels, running requirements workshops, communicating technical topics clearly to non-technical audiences, and managing expectations.

We are seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Sustainable Business Solutions team, specialising in leveraging data and advanced analytics to drive business transformation and solve complex client challenges. This role is ideal for individuals who combine strong technical data skills with a proven ability to deliver impactful, data-driven projects, from strategic insights to operational efficiencies.

You will work hands-on across the full data lifecycle: from data ingestion and engineering to advanced analytics, modelling, and compelling visualisation. You will collaborate with stakeholders across various business functions, including strategy, finance, operations, and IT, to translate complex business problems into data solutions and ensure robust, scalable, and actionable outcomes.

• Proficiency in SQL and at least one scripting language (Python or R) for data manipulation, analysis, and automation.
• Skilled in modern analytics and BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Qlik Sense) for data visualisation and dashboard development.
• Experience with data modelling, data governance, quality controls, and exception handling.
• Effective project delivery capabilities, with demonstrable experience managing timelines, scope, and deliverables.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
• Experience producing clear project documentation, technical specifications, and client-ready deliverables.

Desirable

• Experience with advanced analytical techniques, such as machine learning, predictive modelling, or optimisation.
• Familiarity with data orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Prefect, Cloud Composer).
• Experience with containerisation or infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform).
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and technologies.
• Experience contributing to proposals, scoping documents, or client development activities.
• Understanding of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR) and data security best practices.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, GitHub Copilot), including prompt engineering and code review of AI-generated output.
