Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Test Automation Engineer to join their Newcastle-based team. The Opportunity:
This is an opportunity to work alongside highly skilled software engineers, quantitative specialists, infrastructure experts, and technical consultants to help deliver mission-critical platforms and applications.
You'll play a key role in improving software quality, driving automation initiatives, and building tools and processes that enable safe and efficient software delivery.

- Take ownership of testing processes across multiple projects and products.
- Collaborate closely with software engineers, technical stakeholders, and business users.
- Identify opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, and delivery processes through automation.
- Build and enhance internal tooling to support software development and deployment.
- Analyse requirements and challenge existing approaches to deliver the best outcomes.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
Are you passionate about automation, quality engineering, and building robust software solutions in a fast-paced technology environment?, * Experience developing software using Python, Java, C#, or a similar programming language.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Cucumber, or equivalent frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and quality assurance methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- A passion for technology and continuous learning.
- A STEM-related degree (2:1 or above preferred).
