Job description

MCIM is seeking a Salesforce DevOps Engineer responsible for optimizing, automating, and scaling our Salesforce development and release processes.

This role will focus on Salesforce deployment automation, managed package delivery, release governance, environment management, and CI/CD optimization across our Salesforce ecosystem.

The ideal candidate has experience supporting Salesforce development teams and improving release quality through automation and operational excellence., Salesforce Release Engineering

  • Manage deployment pipelines for Salesforce applications and managed packages.
  • Support package creation, versioning, release management, and deployment processes.
  • Coordinate releases across development, QA, staging, and production environments.

Salesforce DevOps

  • Build and maintain Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
  • Automate metadata deployments and validation processes.
  • Improve deployment reliability and release efficiency.
  • Support GitHub release management and branching strategies.

Environment Management

  • Manage Salesforce sandboxes and deployment environments.
  • Coordinate refresh schedules and environment readiness.
  • Ensure consistency across environments.

Quality & Automation

  • Integrate automated testing into deployment pipelines.
  • Improve deployment validation and release quality controls.
  • Support code quality and governance initiatives.

Collaboration

  • Partner with Product, Engineering, QA, and Architecture teams.
  • Support release planning and execution activities.
  • Document and standardize deployment processes.

Requirements

Do you have a valid Certified Salesforce Administrator certification?, Do you have experience in Tooling?, * 3-5 years of Salesforce DevOps, Release Engineering, or Salesforce Administration experience.

  • Experience with Salesforce deployment tools:
  • CumulusCI
  • Gearset
  • Salesforce DX
  • Copado (plus)
  • Experience managing Salesforce metadata deployments.
  • Strong Git and GitHub knowledge.
  • Understanding of Salesforce packaging and release management.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Basic understanding of AWS infrastructure concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification.
  • Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification.
  • Experience working for a Salesforce ISV or OEM partner.
  • Experience supporting managed package deployments.
  • Experience automating Salesforce testing frameworks.
