Job description

As a Robotics Systems Support Engineer, you will serve as the primary technical lead for our advanced automated material handling environments. You will optimize system performance by monitoring complex robotic infrastructure, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and resolving critical technical bottlenecks to ensure seamless operational uptime. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the real-time health and performance of automated robotic vehicles, vertical lifts, and integrated material handling adapters.
  • Execute advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis to resolve complex electromechanical and software-related system disruptions.
  • Translate technical system data into actionable insights for cross-functional teams and onsite stakeholders to improve overall efficiency.
  • Develop and deliver technical training to operational staff regarding warehouse management systems, robotic hardware, and IT troubleshooting protocols.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to document system anomalies and implement long-term technical solutions.
  • Champion safety excellence by strictly enforcing OSHA-compliant protocols, including Lock-Out/Tag-Out (LOTO) and fall protection standards.
  • Maintain operational continuity by providing hands-on support and backfilling critical site roles as needed.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Robot troubleshooting?, * Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting complex automated systems or robotics.
  • Proficiency with PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Siemens) and industrial robotics (ABB).
  • Strong technical aptitude in software languages such as SQL, Linux, and Python.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks in industrial environments, including working at heights, navigating tight spaces, and lifting up to 50 lbs., * Demonstrated success in driving continuous improvement (CI) projects within a production environment.
  • Experience managing technical escalations in high-pressure, fast-paced operational settings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to partner with external clients and internal stakeholders.
