Job description

This role is responsible for managing the MuleSoft platform, its resiliency, security, reliability, availability and performance.

The Lead Infrastructure Architect designs and develops IT infrastructure architecture solutions to business problems in alignment with the enterprise architecture direction and standards. The Lead Infrastructure Architect works on problems of diverse scope and complexity ranging from moderate to substantial.

Responsibilities

The Lead Infrastructure Architect performs technical planning, architecture development and modification of specifications. Develops specifications for new IT infrastructure products and service offerings. Assesses the compatibility and integration of products/services proposed as standards in order to ensure an integrated architecture across interdependent technologies. Advises executives to develop functional strategies (often segment specific) on matters of significance. Exercises independent judgment and decision making on complex issues regarding job duties and related tasks, and works under minimal supervision, Uses independent judgment requiring analysis of variable factors and determining the best course of action.

Responsibilities:

Provide Guidelines and Best Practices around

DevSecOps Strategy, Platform Onboarding & Access Control, Service Accounts / Connected Apps Setup, Platform Deployment Strategy, Platform Provisioning, Setup and Configurations, Platform, Infrastructure & Network Architecture and planning

Platform Design for Non-Functional Requirements (Resiliency, Reliability, HA, Performance)

Setup, review and update common services - Monitoring, Logging, Alerting, CI/CD

Platform Licenses Capacity Planning, Sizing and Renewals

Manage Admins / Service Accounts / Non SSO Accounts

Security Keys / Certificates management

Platform Business Continuity plan and setup

Platform Audit trails, periodic reviews

Track and Promote MuleSoft Platform Capability

Work with the C4E lead and operations manager to identify key program KPI's and help lay the foundation to gather this data from the platform.

Work closely with the Humana Enterprise Architecture and Security teams to align to corporate standards

Work with the platform support team to ensure continuous improvement in SOP's, Incident Management and Communication, Track MuleSoft Support Incidents and maintenance notifications

Requirements

Bachelor's degree

6 or more years of infrastructure experience

2 or more years of project leadership experience

Experience integrating new technologies with existing technologies.

Experience implementing technologies with enterprise-wide impact

Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences

Experience managing a small team

Understanding of enterprise DevOps

Experience working with multiple development teams in a single environment

Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree in a Technical Field

PMP or PMI certification

MuleSoft certifications, ideally MuleSoft certified platform architect

Experience working with GCP, Azure, Kubernetes, Maven or similar technologies
