As a Sr. Data Scientist, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing large datasets, uncovering insights, and driving data-driven decision-making within our organization. - Analyze raw data: assessing quality, cleansing, structuring for downstream processing
- Design accurate and scalable prediction algorithms
- Collaborate with engineering team to bring analytical prototypes to production
- Generate actionable insights for business improvements, manipulating data and drawing insights from large data sets
- Create and use advanced machine learning algorithms and statistics, such as regression, simulation, scenario analysis, modeling, clustering, decision trees, neural networks, etc.
- Create data architectures
- Visualize and present data to stakeholders
Requirements
Do you have experience in Public Cloud?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative field, such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of one (1) year of hands-on experience in data analysis, machine learning, or statistical modeling.
- Demonstrated expertise gained through relevant internships, coursework, and personal projects that highlight your skills and a strong dedication to the field of data science.
- Fundamental knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure, with an emphasis on their use for scalable data analysis.
- Minimum 7 years of experience.
Required Skills / Certifications
- Competency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation, along with experience working with databases to retrieve and store data.
- Strong data analysis skills, including data cleaning, exploration and visualization.
- A foundation in machine learning with experience in building and deploying machine learning models.
- The ability to approach complex data problems, devise solutions, and successfully implement them within project deadlines and objectives.
- A drive to learn and master new technologies and techniques
- Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms
- Fluency in programming languages (Python, C,C++, Java, SQL)
- Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for coordinating across teams
- Awareness of ethical considerations in data science, including privacy, bias, and fairness in algorithms.
Preferred Skills / Certifications
- Master's degree in Data Science or closely related field
- Recognized certifications in the field of Data Science
Security clearance
- You must be able to obtain a security clearance (Secret or higher) - US Citizenship required
