Job description
- Configure, implement, and support SAP WM solutions to meet business and operational requirements.
- Analyze warehouse and logistics processes and recommend system improvements and best practices.
- Manage SAP WM master data, warehouse structures, storage types, storage bins, and inventory management processes.
- Support inbound, outbound, inventory, picking, packing, put-away, and stock transfer activities.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Prepare functional design documents and work closely with ABAP developers for custom enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
- Support RF (Radio Frequency) devices, barcode scanning solutions, and mobile warehouse applications.
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex production support issues.
- Coordinate testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to business and support teams.
- Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and SAP S/4HANA migration initiatives where applicable.
- Ensure seamless integration between SAP WM, MM, SD, PP, and other logistics modules.
Requirements
- 12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP WM configuration and support.
- Strong experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics operations.
- Experience working in implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management solutions is preferred.
