Job description

  • Configure, implement, and support SAP WM solutions to meet business and operational requirements.
  • Analyze warehouse and logistics processes and recommend system improvements and best practices.
  • Manage SAP WM master data, warehouse structures, storage types, storage bins, and inventory management processes.
  • Support inbound, outbound, inventory, picking, packing, put-away, and stock transfer activities.
  • Collaborate with business users to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Prepare functional design documents and work closely with ABAP developers for custom enhancements, reports, interfaces, forms, and workflows.
  • Support RF (Radio Frequency) devices, barcode scanning solutions, and mobile warehouse applications.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and resolve complex production support issues.
  • Coordinate testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Provide user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer to business and support teams.
  • Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and SAP S/4HANA migration initiatives where applicable.
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP WM, MM, SD, PP, and other logistics modules.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of hands-on experience in SAP WM configuration and support.
  • Strong experience in warehouse management, inventory control, and logistics operations.
  • Experience working in implementation, rollout, enhancement, and support projects.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA Warehouse Management solutions is preferred.
