Software Automation QA Engineer

As a Software Engineer in Test, you will work in a multi-functional team responsible for projects such as system applications, frameworks, and services. You will work closely with software engineers, project managers, and other Apple quality teams. You will ensure that Apple delivers the next generation of its operating systems and features with the highest security and quality.

Experience writing code in Objective C, Swift, or Python to test an API, SDK, or Frameworks\nExperience writing and triaging automated software tests (e.g., unit-tests, regression tests, functional tests, stress tests)\nExperience in developing comprehensive test plans, assessing risk, filing appropriate bugs, and consolidating bug reports\nAbility to communicate clearly and effectively about technical topics (verbal and written)\nDemonstrates the highest standards of professional integrity and ethical conduct

Experience in driving development and deployment of relevant testing tools and infrastructure\nFamiliarity with XCTest and Xcode\nAbility to triage problems, prioritize accordingly, and propose a resolution\nAbility to work independently, raise issues, and take corrective action\nA keen eye for detail and a passion for understanding how systems work and ensuring their quality and reliability
