Job description
- Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues to internal users.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and peripheral devices.
- Diagnose and resolve system and application issues in a timely manner.
- Manage user accounts, access permissions, and security groups in Active Directory and related systems.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring system availability and reliability.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining IT infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Maintain IT asset inventory and documentation of systems, licenses, and configurations.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware/software procurement and support.
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and assist in data protection initiatives.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, We are looking for a skilled Backfill IT Support Specialist with 2 years of hands-on experience in providing technical support, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring smooth IT operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and a customer-focused mindset to deliver high-quality IT assistance across the organization., * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or technical support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS environments.
- Hands-on experience with Office 365, Active Directory, and basic networking concepts.
- Familiarity with IT ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, ServiceNow).
- Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or Google Workspace).
- ITIL certification or equivalent is a plus., * IT support: 2 years (Required)
