Job description
- Provide comprehensive design, management, & continuous enhancement of internal / external websites, portals, digital assets, and platforms (WPDAP); deliver optimal functionality, robust security, & positive user experience, in alignment with Customer vision / mission objectives.
- Provide expert technical guidance & assistance for internal / external WPDAP, covering web technologies, data management, data visualization, AI, & workflow automation
- Leverage range of technologies, including:
- MS 365 Application Suite
- MS Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
- Vantage, Tableau, Advani
- Other related technologies
- Support knowledge-sharing initiatives & collaborative technology implementation; ensure strict adherence to cybersecurity, information security, and assurance policies across managed internet services.
- Design, develop, & maintain digital assets, including internal / external websites, Power Platform applications, automated workflows, Power BI dashboards.
- Perform SharePoint administration functions (managing permissions, sites, document libraries, lists, forms, web parts, templates) & management of associated data visualizations / databases.
- Provide troubleshooting / technical assistance to Customer and supported organizations.
- Provide strategic planning support to Chief Knowledge Officer, including assisting in development of long-/short-range plans & optimization of resource allocation.
- Responsible for continuous improvement, development, enhancement, & management of web properties.
- Provide prompt, effective user support; serve as primary POC for web capabilities and liaison with installation staff, Army personnel, & contractors.
- Create & edit assets for print / web, utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom) & other industry-standard graphic design software.
- Maintain daily log of work performed & provide monthly reports of completed & ongoing projects.
- Respond to routine service requests within 4 hours of notification & complete work within 8 hours of notification.
- Engineer media sites to ensure consistency across domains.
- Develop & maintain workflows approved by Customer.
- Enhancements may include:
- Redesign of web pages.
- Integration of commercial/Government software.
- Development of minor web-based applications/interfaces.
- Elimination, modification, and/or addition of portal / website functionality.
- Improvements in use & application of help tools / other enhancements that improve Web-based Knowledge Environment.
- Design, develop, & support web content with Blogs, RSS/News feeds, audio and video, & social networking services / associated APIs.
- Coordinate with business content owners / content providers, departments, & offices to provide solutions; draft final version for publication.
- Provide input / feedback to content owners & management support on design, aesthetics, & implementation of enriching features / technologies in environment.
- Perform reviews & audit actions for websites / online content for relevant & timely information, compliance with regulations and policy.
- Perform maintenance, administration, & enhancement of websites / web-based services.
- Design & implement links to other DoD websites IAW DoD / G-6 standards & regulations.
- Identify changes necessary to upgrade websites / services.
- Ensure compliance with Section 508 & Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board EIT Accessibility Standards.
Requirements
Do you have experience in XML?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field OR 5+ years' Web & Systems Development experience; Security+ and Computing Environment MD-101 certification (or equivalent)
Years of Experience: 5+ years' Web / Systems Development experience if not holding Bachelor's Degree
Clearance Level & Investigation: Secret / T3
IT Level (AR 25-2): IT Level III
IA Cert Level (DoD 8570.01): IAT IIComputing Environment Certifications: Security+ & Computing Environment MD-101 Certification, * Requires either Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field OR 5+ years' Web & Systems Development experience.
- Must possess & maintain active Security+ and Computing Environment MD-101 certification or equivalent for elevated network privileges.
- Requires software experience in MS 365, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, X code, VS code, & PowerQuery.
- Requires experience, knowledge, and skills in Artificial Intelligence. (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Bot creation.
- Must have experience, knowledge, & skills utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom) / other industry-standard graphic design software as required.
- Must have experience in web development & webmaster support, to include: performing graphical design; site planning; layout of web applications, websites, and web-related services & technology utilizing dynamic and static web interfaces using HTML, DHTML, VB Script, Java Scripts, and Cascading Style Sheets.
- Requires ability to design, develop, & support web content with Blogs, RSS/News feeds, audio / video, & social networking services / associated APIs.
- Requires ability to create SharePoint pages and content utilizing basic web parts, administering permissions and groups, updating information, creating workflows, and conducting basic maintenance procedures.
- Requires ability to perform reviews & audit actions for websites / online content for relevant & timely information, compliance with regulations & policy.
- Must have solid oral & written communications skills.
- Must be able to perform maintenance, administration, & enhancement of websites and web-based services.
- Must be able to design & implement links to other DoD websites that comply with DoD and U.S. Army G-6 standards / regulations.
- Requires ability to analyze & assess existing / emerging technologies to determine relevance to existing web environments, to include software assessments, standardization assessments, & configuration topography/site structure assessments.
- Must be able to identify changes necessary to upgrade websites & services.
- Requires familiarity with Section 508 (Rehabilitation Act of 1973) and Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board Electronic & Information Technology (EIT) Accessibility Standards.
- Required to maintain SECRET clearance.
- Must be skilled coder in the following programming languages, frameworks, & Content Management Systems (CMS): HTML, HTML5 CSS, XML including Java Script, JSON, PHP, SQL, MySQL, Swift, AJAX, Bootstrap, JQuery, SASS, Joomla!, WordPress, Drupal, AEM, Concrete 5, Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, PySpark, and TypeScript.
- Must be proactive & highly skilled individual dedicated to delivering secure, efficient, user-centric digital solutions., Education-Certifications: Bachelor's Degree OR Relevant Experience Security+ CE MD-101 certification (or equivalent) Years of Experience: 5+ years (web / systems development) Source Selection: USAFCoE
