PHP Developer

• Provide back end development for our world class web apps.
• Using PHP (Zend) through the entire LAMP foundation.
• Develop modules within a Web framework using best practices according to agile methodologies.
• Work within a fast moving, startup environment to deliver solid code that has a broad business impact.
• Fix bugs and troubleshoot operational issues as they occur.
• Provide technical leadership, training and requirements analysis.
• Provide oral and written status to project lead and management.

• Experienced in building large-scale web applications and have developed or supported an operationally critical web service.
• Familiarity with server-side languages such as PHP, Ruby, Python, Perl or Java.
• Experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL, MSSQL or Oracle and a good working knowledge of SQL.
• Strong design and coding skills in Javascript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS, HTML, (HTML Views)
• Strong understanding of session management.
• Motivated to drive tasks to completion and take ownership of projects.
• Demonstrated passion about technology, have a strong interest in learning about the latest technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast paced and agile development environment.
• Experience with Unix-like systems such as Linux, BSD, Solaris, etc.
• LAMP
• Understanding of MVC architecture and concepts.
• Experience with web application frameworks such as Zend, CakePHP, Symfony or Drupal is a plus., * BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
