Job description

The Software Product Specialist is responsible for accelerating the adoption and revenue growth of Clarity XR software solutions throughout the iM3 sales network. This role serves as the subject matter expert for Clarity XR and works closely with inside sales representatives, outside sales representatives, dealer partners, corporate accounts, and key opinion leaders to ensure Clarity XR remains a strategic priority within the business.

Unlike a traditional territory sales role, the primary objective is to influence and support existing sales channels, enabling them to successfully position, demonstrate, and sell Clarity XR solutions.

This position combines product expertise, sales training and support, demonstration support, dealer development, clinical workflow consulting, and strategic account support. Travel of more than 50% is required, including weekends and holidays, to visit customers, support dealers, and attend trade shows and industry events., Sales Training & Support

  • Train and coach Inside Sales Representatives, Territory Managers, and Dealer Representatives on Clarity XR features, benefits, workflows, and commercial positioning.
  • Conduct regular sales training sessions, webinars, workshops, and product updates.
  • Develop sales tools, presentations, objection-handling guides, competitive comparisons, and value-based selling materials.
  • Ensure Clarity XR remains visible and actively promoted across all sales channels.
  • Monitor sales activity and identify opportunities where Clarity XR should be included in customer discussions.

Dealer and Channel Development

  • Support dealer representatives with customer presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
  • Develop dealer competency and certification programs.
  • Assist dealers in identifying and pursuing software opportunities within their customer base.
  • Build dealer engagement plans and maintain regular communication with key channel partners.

Customer Demonstrations and Clinical Support

  • Deliver virtual and in-person product demonstrations.
  • Support corporate groups, universities, specialists, and key accounts during evaluations and trials.
  • Assist customers in understanding clinical workflows, imaging protocols, AI functionality, reporting capabilities, and integration options.
  • Provide post-sale onboarding support to maximize customer success and retention.

Corporate and Strategic Account Support

  • Partner with Territory Managers on major opportunities.
  • Assist with corporate account presentations and pilot programs.
  • Support requests for proposals (RFPs), bids, and software evaluations.
  • Coordinate with marketing and leadership teams on strategic growth initiatives.

Product Champion Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary voice of the customer for Clarity XR.
  • Gather market feedback and communicate opportunities and challenges to product management and development teams.
  • Track competitive software solutions and market trends.
  • Assist with product launches and new feature rollouts.

Events and Industry Engagement

  • Support trade shows, conferences, dealer meetings, and educational events.
  • Deliver educational presentations on imaging workflows, software adoption, and AI-assisted dentistry.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders and industry influencers.

Requirements

Required

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in medical, dental, veterinary, imaging, or software sales.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to speak to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience delivering software demonstrations.
  • Ability to train and influence sales teams without direct authority.
  • Strong understanding of customer workflows and consultative selling.
  • Ability and willingness to travel more than 50% of the year, including weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing a remote territory.

Preferred

  • Experience in veterinary, dental, radiology, imaging, or healthcare technology.
  • Experience working with dealer or distribution networks.
  • Experience supporting corporate or enterprise accounts.
  • Knowledge of PACS, DICOM, imaging workflows, AI-enabled software, or practice management systems., * A passionate product advocate who can create enthusiasm for Clarity XR across multiple audiences.
  • A sales coach rather than a traditional quota-carrying salesperson.
  • Comfortable presenting to groups of all sizes.
  • Able to influence and drive results without direct authority.
  • Equally at ease speaking with veterinarians, technicians, dealers, and sales executives.
  • Focused on driving software adoption through others rather than managing a large independent pipeline.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Regularly required to sit; occasionally required to stand and walk.
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity and visual acuity to operate equipment, read technical information, and use a keyboard.
  • Continually required to talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to lift, push, or carry items up to 50 pounds.
  • Travel to customers, dealer partners, and trade shows is an essential function of this role, occurring more than 50% of the year and may include weekends and holidays.

Benefits & conditions

  • Starting at $75,000 per year. The full pay range for this role is $75,000 to $90,000 per year.
  • Bonus potential up to $10,000 per year based on performance
