Job description

  • This position develops, updates and manages the operation of the Court's websites, oversees the operation and functionality of the website databases, and assists in Court's digital media management and administration., * Administration of the Court websites which include updating content and layouts, graphics development, implementation of new technologies, and developing short and long term Internet roadmaps. In addition to website administration, this position will help define and implement a digital media presence for the Courts and research / implement emerging Internet and communication technologies.
  • Duties include but are not limited to
  • o Website Security
  • o Daily review of the Court's website;
  • o Content and design revisions;
  • o Posting various departments' content;
  • o Preparing a long-term plan for web site development and presence, including standards and guidelines for content including Courts website consolidation;
  • o Ensure a consistent look and feel throughout the website by promoting uniform fonts, formatting, icons, images, and layout, and creating appropriate templates to assist content authors;
  • o Find, diagnose, and fix Website problems, including broken links (both internal and external), typographical errors, formatting inconsistencies, and database issues;
  • o Manage the acquisition and ongoing maintenance of the organization's domain names with the appropriate registrars;
  • o Set and enforce compatibility and interoperability standards that ensure site accessibility for users with older browser version as well as low-speed connections;
  • o Monitor, analyze, and report on Website traffic;
  • o Assist in troubleshooting issue with Courts employees and the Public;
  • o Administration and development of Courts digital media;
  • o Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Do you have experience in Productivity software?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * o Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and Analytics

  • o Authoring Tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash, Fireworks
  • o Office 365 Tools and Solutions
  • Knowledge of Browser Compatibility Issues
  • Ability to Solve Complex Problems
  • Ability to Conduct Research into Emerging Technologies
  • Ability to Create Graphical Interface Features
  • Knowledge of Web Authoring, Development, and Publishing Tools
  • Experience with Networking, Servers, and Workstations in a Windows Environment

  • Familiarity with Microsoft desktop productivity suites and applications., * Employment is contingent upon satisfactory completion of background checks and compliance with courts security policy.
