Come join our journey, and experience what it means to be Done Right with Rhoads. We are currently looking for a SharePoint Developer to join our dynamic, fast-paced, and growing team. The SharePoint Developer will be responsible for supporting the development, enhancement, and maintenance of our Microsoft SharePoint Online environment within a Microsoft Government Community Cloud High (GCCH) environment. This position will focus on designing and implementing modern SharePoint solutions that improve collaboration, document management, communication, and business processes across the organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong SharePoint Online development experience, a solid understanding of Microsoft 365 technologies, and working knowledge of Power Automate and Power Apps to support workflow automation and business process improvements. What You Will Be Doing SharePoint Development

  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, pages, libraries, lists, and custom solutions.
  • Build and enhance modern SharePoint Communication Sites, Team Sites, and Hub Sites.
  • Create intuitive and user-friendly solutions that improve employee collaboration and information accessibility.
  • Develop custom forms, page layouts, and site functionality to support business requirements.
  • Configure metadata, content types, document libraries, and information architecture to improve content organization and searchability.
  • Support SharePoint migrations and modernization initiatives.

Workflow Automation & Business Solutions

  • Design and maintain automated workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Develop and support Power Apps solutions that integrate with SharePoint data sources.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process automation and operational efficiencies.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize existing workflows and applications.

Platform Support & Governance

  • Assist with SharePoint administration, permissions management, and governance activities.
  • Support Microsoft 365 collaboration tools and integrations related to SharePoint.
  • Maintain documentation, technical specifications, and support procedures for implemented solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SharePoint-related issues.

Collaboration & User Engagement

  • Work closely with business units to gather requirements and develop solutions aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Participate in project planning, testing, deployment, and user acceptance activities.
  • Train and support site owners and end users on SharePoint best practices and functionality.

Additional Duties as Assigned

Requirements

Do you have experience in User-facing feature development?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * U.S. Citizenship required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-7 years of experience developing solutions in SharePoint Online.
  • Experience designing and supporting modern SharePoint sites and document management solutions.
  • Experience creating and maintaining workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Power Apps.
  • Experience with SharePoint permissions, content management, metadata, and governance practices.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies.
  • Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Government Community Cloud High (GCCH) environments.
  • Experience with SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Graph API and SharePoint REST APIs.
  • Experience integrating SharePoint with Power BI, Dynamics 365, or other Microsoft technologies.
  • Microsoft certifications related to SharePoint, Microsoft 365, or Power Platform.
  • Experience supporting document management, records management, or digital workplace initiatives., * The performance of this position involves exposure to construction or industrial areas where the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hard hats, and hearing protection is required.
  • May require walking and standing on irregular, uneven surfaces in an industrial setting and possibly at increased heights climbing and descending ladders and ship stairways.
  • Must be able to work in a variety of physical positions, including sitting, standing, walking, and driving in an automobile.
