Job description
- Perform day-to-day support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform; coordinate development and support efforts within the admin team.
- Work closely with the ServiceNow functional team to build requested items and tasks using workflows that manage processes from customer intake to fulfillment.
- Configure and improve core and custom applications in close collaboration with the functional team.
- Work directly with end users to resolve support issues within ServiceNow.
- Monitor health, usage, and overall compliance of ServiceNow and its applications.
- Develop systems integrations and process automation.
- Create and configure Business Rules, UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and ACLs, including advanced scripting.
- Create and configure Notifications, UI Pages, UI Macros, Script Includes, Formatters, and related components.
- Configure and manage Discovery.
- Lead the team through application and platform upgrades.
- Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other systems.
- Create ServiceNow reports and dashboards.

In this role, you will apply deep expertise in the ServiceNow platform to deliver high-quality solutions for our federal clients - building and maintaining applications, developing integrations, and supporting day-to-day operations. As a senior consultant at Northramp, you will also mentor junior staff and help grow our delivery capabilities. Location & Work Arrangement
This role is currently remote; however, candidates located in or near Rockville, MD (Metro-accessible) or the greater Washington, DC metro area are preferred. The Ideal Candidate

- Ability to pass a federal background check and maintain eligibility for continued access authorizations, including periodic drug screenings.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 3-5 years of ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong JavaScript, XML, and HTML skills; familiarity with LDAP, MS Active Directory, and ADFS.
- Proven experience implementing and customizing a web-architected, n-tiered enterprise application.
- Proven experience implementing integrations of enterprise software systems.
- Experience creating ServiceNow update sets, promoting and testing them through multiple instances and into production.
- Ability to design and build applications that meet business goals and objectives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present technical information clearly to varied audiences.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in the government sector (local, state, or federal).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator or Developer certification.
- Experience configuring ServiceNow Discovery.
- Strong knowledge of ITSM processes.
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification.
