- Proactively engage at-risk customers to resolve technical blockers and unmet needs driving churn.
- Partner with top strategic accounts to ensure successful implementation and deployment of Tableau products and services.
- Define and manage intake, triage, and exit criteria for engagements, keeping the team focused on high-value, high-risk scenarios.
- Establish models for scaling this team's knowledge and charter.
- Partner deeply with our field, customer facing teams, and partners while maintaining clear role boundaries to ensure the engineering organization focuses on engineering outcomes rather than project management.
Requirements
- You have 15+ years of experience in engineering, project delivery, and senior customer-facing leadership roles.
- You have demonstrated experience leading Professional Services, Field Engineering, FDE or similar technical consulting functions at scale.
- You have proven ability to build and maintain large-scale distributed systems, with deep familiarity with the Tableau ecosystem (Server, Cloud, Next) or similar enterprise data platforms.
- You have experience working with C-suite executives at Fortune 500 or large enterprise companies to resolve critical technical escalations and align product vision with business value., * You have experience ramping a global team from the ground up and implementing consistent operating models across geographies.
- You are skilled at measuring success through customer health scores, adoption rates, and attrition reduction rather than traditional revenue quotas.
- You have established models for scaling team knowledge and expanding a team's charter over time.
