Mainframe Developer (COBOL / DB2) - US Bank

Operations Communication Technical Debt Sprint Planning Agile Methodology Technical Support Business Valuation Financial Services Development Testing Full Stack Development Artificial Intelligence Business Transformation Git (Version Control System) COBOL (Programming Language) Systems Development Life Cycle, * Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, DB2, and VSAM

• Participate in the full SDLC (requirements, design, development, testing, deployment)
• Collaborate with product teams and technical SMEs to translate business needs into solutions
• Contribute to both new feature development and existing system improvements
• Support agile team activities (stand-ups, sprint planning, etc.)
• Partner with offshore teams as needed (may include occasional early meetings)

• Recent, hands-on experience as a Mainframe Developer
• Strong expertise in:

• COBOL
• DB2
• VSAM
• JCL

• Experience working in a development-focused (not solely support) environment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, * Experience with CICS
• Experience with Git / GitLab
• Background in financial services or credit card systems

This is a Contract position based out of Minneapolis, MN. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
