Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst serves as the subject matter expert (SME) for inpatient pharmacy workflows and configurations within the Epic EHR platform. The successful candidate brings Epic application management experience, with a strong track record in day-to-day operations, stakeholder engagement, and offshore team collaboration., * Serve as primary SME for Epic Willow Inpatient workflows and configurations
- Manage and prioritize daily support activities, ensuring timely incident and service request resolution per defined SLAs
- Monitor and resolve error queues, label/printer issues, and pharmacy automation interfaces
- Troubleshoot dispensing cabinet/robot interface issues, including ID mapping
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Build and maintain inpatient pharmacy configurations within Epic
- Manage medication order sets, formulary setup, and dose checking rules
- Configure NDC billing builds, pharmacy charge maps, and 340B billing workflows
- Support medication builds including IV mixtures, compounding, and repackaging
- Manage medication loads (Medispan) and maintain formulary accuracy
- Develop and maintain BPA/OPA alert builds for clinical decision support and patient safety
- Support CPOE and pharmacy verification workflows
- Liaise with client stakeholders to align system capabilities with clinical and business needs
- Partner with pharmacists, pharmacy operations teams, nurses, and physicians to optimize workflows
- Coordinate with Accenture, vendor, and client contacts across all application activities
- Coordinate with offshore teams on task delegation, communication, and performance monitoring
- Participate in team meetings with updates on work status, risks, and resource needs
- Maintain system documentation including workflows, build specifications, and testing protocols
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, data governance, medication safety standards, and security policies
- Develop and deliver end-user training materials and conduct training sessions
- Support system design, testing, and implementation for upgrades and enhancements
Requirements
- A minimum of three years of Epic application management and support with Inpatient Pharmacy operations and Willow Inpatient configuration
- Active Epic Willow Inpatient certification required
- High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications
- Additional Epic certifications (Ambulatory, Home Infusion, Bugsy)
- Experience managing EHR support operations and meeting SLA requirements
- Prior offshore coordination experience preferred
- Healthcare IT consulting or large health system background preferred
