Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a seeking a full-time Software Engineer (Ground Systems) Early Career. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software applications, including tasks such as writing and reviewing code and collaborating with senior developers. You will apply your skills to contribute to innovative solutions, working on a range of projects that meet the company's technical requirements. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of design, coding, and test. Must be a US Citizen. This position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access., Pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science -Proficient in a programming language (such as Python, Java, C++, or Javascript) -Basic knowledge in the engineering process -Familiar with databases Desired Skills: -Basic knowledge in advanced programming languages (such as Ruby, Swift, Kotlin) -Basic Knowledge in development frameworks or libraries (such as React, Angular, Spring) -Familiar with Cloud Computing (AWS, Azure, or Google) -Familiar with Docker or Kubernetes -Basic Knowledge of version control for example branching, merging, and pull requests in Git Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration., Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
