Job description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Information Technology Manager. It is an entry-mid level position that reports directly to the company executives directly. The role, based in Plano, TX, is responsible for the planning, implementation, support, and continuous improvement of all IT systems, services, and infrastructure across the organization. This includes local server management, network administration, cybersecurity, end-user support, ERP systems, cloud and on-premises solutions, as well as custom programming, system mapping, and documentation efforts. The IT Manager acts as the sole internal IT point of contact and collaborates with department heads to ensure seamless operations, security, and innovation throughout the business.

- Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange Online, Outlook, and email security protocols (including SMIME encryption and phishing prevention).
- Understanding of ERP system workflows, user support, and basic EDI principles.
- Working knowledge of Windows Server environments, including PowerEdge server management, Active Directory, and shared drive administration.
- Ability to troubleshoot desktop, laptop, networked printer, network, database, and software issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (including formulas and macros) and Microsoft Access databases.
- Commitment to cybersecurity best practices for endpoint protection, MFA, and system auditing.
- Experience supporting remote access solutions (e.g., VPNs, remote desktop).
- Strong documentation skills for maintaining technical guides, licensing records, and system diagrams., * Bachelor's, Associates, or degree in Computer Science (CS), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related technical field.
- Prior professional experience in an IT support, system administration, or related technical role.
- Experience programming custom tools or automations (e.g., VBA, SQL, Python).
- Exposure to label generation systems and their integration with business software.
- Familiarity with software licensing management, vendor coordination, and hardware inventory tracking.
- Ability to manage projects independently, prioritize tasks, and collaborate with multiple departments.
