Job description
Position Profile: The Standley Systems Connectivity Technician is responsible for, but not limited to, the equipment install process from delivery to training. This position will report to the Imaging Implementation Manager., * Serve as on-site technician for equipment installation.
- Troubleshooting skills for OS and Network issues.
- Installing print drivers
- Setting up scanning features
- Record events, problems and their resolution in the ticketing system
- Maintain and clean company vehicle
- Train end users on installed hardware
- Utilize company vehicle to deliver, load/unload equipment
- Maintain and expand current technical knowledge by attending service training classes and meetings
- Use diagnostic tools, and service aids, to assess and resolve equipment and system failures
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driver's License license?, Do you have experience in Scanning?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Highly organized and able to multi-task
- Strong verbal communications
- Working knowledge of digital copy machines and scanners
- Experience with IP addresses and installing network drivers
- Understanding of network fundamentals
- Electrical and mechanical abilities
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Proficient PC Skills
- Good driving record, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance
- High School Diploma
Recommendations:
- A+ Certification preferred
- 1+ years' experience in on-site support
Physical Requirements:
- Operation of a motor vehicle, other vehicle, equipment, machinery, or power tools;
- Repairing, maintaining, or monitoring the performance or operation of any equipment, machinery, or manufacturing process, the malfunction or disruption of which could result in injury or property damage;
- Operation, maintenance, or oversight of critical services and infrastructure including, but not limited to electric, gas, and water utilities, power generation, or distribution.
- Must be able to pass drug and alcohol screen. Standley Systems has federal contracts that require compliance with the Drug-Free Workplace Act of 1988, therefore medical marijuana license-holders who test positive for marijuana will not be qualified for the position.
