Job description
- Design, build, and maintain robust migration pipelines to support application and infrastructure transformation initiatives
- Automate deployment, release, and operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Provide hands-on support for application and infrastructure migration activities, ensuring minimal disruption and strong performance
- Enhance platform reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive monitoring and continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain runbooks, operational procedures, and documentation to support incident response and platform operations
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed DevOps and SRE best practices across the software delivery life cycle
- Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and observability solutions to ensure system health and rapid issue resolution
Requirements
- 5+ years' experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux system administration
- Experience administering and supporting Windows Server environments
- Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or similar
- Solid experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (eg, Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience working with monitoring and observability platforms (eg, Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK stack)
- Practical experience operating within AWS environments
Desirable Skills
- Experience working with complex financial services industry customers
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration tools (eg, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and distributed systems
- Experience with security best practices in cloud and infrastructure environments
- Familiarity with hybrid or multi-cloud environments
- Scripting or programming skills (eg, Python, Bash, PowerShell)
