Job description
A Government-supporting organization aligned to AFRL is seeking a Systems Software Developer to join a highly technical DevOps and Autonomy Infrastructure group.This role supports defense-focused R&D initiatives and operates within a complex, highly secure environment. This position is a blend of DevOps, infrastructure, and systems engineering, supporting the full SDLC including development, integration, testing, and deployment of systems software components. The environment is heavily Linux-based and leverages containerization technologies (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines to support development and infrastructure. The role is hands-on and execution-focused, working within a small team managing Kubernetes clusters and multiple network environments.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering etc

3+ years background in DevOps, infrastructure, or systems engineering with scripting/automation experience o Hands-on exposure to Kubernetes and/or containerization/ Experience with CI/CD pipelines

Experience working within a Linux environment

Ability to obtain a clearance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience with source-code control

- Demonstrated experience with Agile SCRUM software development process in a team environment
